The bracelet is hinged, making it easy to put on and take off. No Ladies Maid required. The clasp is tight, with a safety chain for added security. A personal inscription, the initials "C.B.," are hand engraved on the bracelet's interior. Circa 1880.

Gorgeous garnet jewels were made in the country of Bohemia (now a part of the Czech Republic) from the mid to late 1800s. The Bohemian style is named after Bohemia and was the place for Avante Gardé fashion, design, and lifestyle in the 19th Century.
