A dynamic looking ox or bull sits within a ring of pale green jade in this vintage Chinese Zodiac pendant necklace of jadeite or nephrite jade and sterling silver, circa 1970s.

The quality necklace consists of a “Taurus within a Torus” or Pi donut, consisting of a pale celadon jade ring with faint striations and coloring, featuring a cast 3D silver ox with textured details, blue crystal eyes, and gold vermeil that has tarnished over time – attached to a silver chain link necklace.

The pendant portion measures approximately 2 inches round, while the chain measures approximately 21 inches in length.  It also has a spring ring clasp, a bail marked “STGSIL” for sterling silver, and weighs 47.8 grams total.
