A beautiful vintage Italian bracelet in the shape of a snake from the second part of the twentieth century. The head and tail are cast silver and the body is made from a plain and a meshed silver cable twisted together. The result is a lovely, textured look. The bracelet is very well made and looks stunning on. It is also quite flexible, so you can shape it tighter or looser, as you wish. It is marked 925 Italy and is in great vintage condition.

The snake motif has been used in jewelry since antiquity. It is a symbol of never-ending love and has been associated with healing and longevity as well as fecundity in many cultures.
